Everything In Between

In his earthly journey, Jesus navigated political, social, and religious divides. He spoke to individuals and groups that were considered “out” or “other,” and challenged stigmas and stereotypes, all while proclaiming forgiveness and new life. Though our world is different than Jesus’ was, these basic realities are the same: there is much which divides us. Still, Jesus steps right in, meeting us in the faces of our neighbors, and taking away our sin. In moments of division and experiences of extremes, God’s love spans the space that separates us from one another, and transforms our lives with faith and the grace of Christ.
