In July 2024, five WestSide students and two adults will be traveling to New Orleans for the ELCA Youth Gathering.

For four days, participants in New Orleans will experience the sights and sounds of the jazz-filled city while worshiping with youth from around the United States and serving their neighbors in need. This is a life-changing faith formation event, and we are delighted that our high school-aged WestSiders are part of it.

So far, the group has raised $6,239.39 to get them to NOLA this July. These funds are used for registration, hotel, travel, and food expenses. As things continue to be scheduled and booked, we'll soon be able to tell you their overall financial needs and fundraising goal with more accuracy! Any amount raised above what the students need this summer will be reserved for future groups to use. Thank you for your generosity in support of this faith-forming trip.

Support our youth and adults heading to New Orleans this summer by pursuing and bidding on silent auction items on Sunday, May 5. Bidding begins at 8:45 am, and winners will be announced at 12:30 pm.
